HISTORY OF THE PHOENIX THEATRE COMPANY GUILD
Founded in 1953, The Phoenix Theatre Company Guild is a proud supporter of the Award-winning The Phoenix Theatre Company, which celebrates 106 seasons of artistry, spectacular productions and impactful education and outreach programs reaching more than 100,000 children and adults each year. The Phoenix Theatre Company Guild is a Musical Production Sponsor for The Phoenix Theatre Company and generously supports the 8-week Summer Camp program and scholarships focusing on development of children’s unique talents and skills and the Partners That Heal in-person and digital performances providing customized interactions that improve communications between children and caregivers in local healthcare and trauma facilities, now touching more than 70,000 lives.
HOW DOES THE GUILD SUPPORT THE PHOENIX THEATRE COMPANY? The Guild raises funds by offering special tickets to The Phoenix Theatre Company performances. The annual Fall Fashion Show and Luncheon, Holiday Prelude and Spring Fling are the Guild’s major fundraisers.
Fall Fashion Show and Luncheon. Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 9, 2025, and join us at Maggiano’s Scottsdale for a delicious luncheon, silent auction and fashion show, featuring fabulous designs by Kiss Me Kate. For information call 602-418-9542.
Holiday Prelude. Save the date for this year’s holiday event to be held on Friday, December 5 2025 at J. W. Mariott Camelback Inn. Held annually for 38 years, Holiday Prelude is a collaboration between The Phoenix Theatre Company Guild and Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestras. In 2024, over 500 attendees had a fun-filled day shopping the boutiques, dining on a delicious lunch and enjoying a fabulous fashion show. and a prize drawing featuring donations from many local businesses. This year’s event promises to be even more spectacular, featuring four contemporary designers, Ruby Farias, Evans Furs & Leathers, Joanna DeShay and Amelia Walsh. . Holiday Prelude promises to be an unforgettable Holiday experience with proceeds benefiting the many community outreach programs of The Phoenix Theatre Company Guild and the Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestras.
